Roles & Responsibilities

  • Outside sales experience in industrial equipment or warehousing/storage solutions
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with dealers, distributors, system integrators, and end-users and close sales in a territory
  • Ability to travel within California/Los Angeles area and work remotely from a home office
  • Proficiency with CRM software (CIM) and cross-functional coordination with engineering, manufacturing, installation, and customer service teams

Requirements:

  • Manage and grow relationships with dealers, distributors, system integrators, and end-users; train them on racking products and applications
  • Visit territory to strengthen relationships, follow up on leads and quotes, and close business; conduct sales presentations and calls and oversee sales order negotiations and execution
  • Partner with internal technical resources to create quotes and coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, installation, and customer service to ensure project completion
  • Develop monthly and weekly sales plans with prospecting activities and forecasts; maintain up-to-date CIM CRM with leads, quotes, and orders

We are looking to hire an Industrial Sales Representative (outside sales) to join our sales team, working remotely from a home office in the Los Angeles, CA area. The Industrial Sales Representative is responsible for the sale of racking and static and dynamic storage solutions within California, with most business being around the Los Angeles, CA area.

Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Manage relationships by continuously updating and training racking or material handling dealers, distributors, systems integrators, and end-users on our racking products and applications.
  • Visit dealers, distributors, and end users in territory in order to strengthen existing relationships, follow up on leads and quotes, and close business.
  • Conduct sales presentations, complete sales calls, manage sales order negotiations, and oversee the execution of sales orders
  • Partner with internal technical resources to create quotes for customers.
  • Partner with customers to develop long term relationships, generate additional sales, and guide problem resolution discussions.
  • Develop monthly and weekly sales plans that include prospecting activities and forecasts.
  • Ensure completion of customer projects through the coordination of engineering, manufacturing, installation, and customer service activities.
  • Update daily the lead, quote, and order activity in company's CRM software, CIM. Keep CIM updated daily.
