Job description

Accounting & Tax Mentor (Canada)

The Mission: To train experienced Filipino certified accountants on the Canadian accounting practice to serve Canadian businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Standards Alignment: Train our team on Canadian GAAP and the specific bookkeeping requirements for Canadian SMEs.
  • Tax Compliance Training: Develop training sessions focused on HST/GST/PST filings, payroll deductions (CPP/EI), and T2 corporate tax preparation basics.

Requirements:

  • CPA designation or equivalent extensive experience in Canadian public or private accounting.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Canadian Tax Code and filing deadlines.
  • Availability for 2–10 hours per week for live training and file reviews, depending on your availability.

At the end of the course there will be an issuance of micro credentials.
