  • Support bi-annual compensation cycles: data audits, cash/equity reviews, and survey submissions.
  • Coordinate equity grants with Recruiting Ops and Equity Admins per policy.
  • Update compensation resources (hubs, playbooks, tables, and job architecture) and identify/process improvements with the team.

Compensation Programs Specialist
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 6+ months
Pay Rate: $100-$110/hr W2
 
You'll handle operational execution of compensation programs, working with People, Finance, Recruiting, and Payroll teams. Ideal for organized pros with 3-5 years in comp, total rewards, or people ops who excel in Excel and fast-paced settings.
Key Responsibilities

  • Administer non-cyclical comp programs end-to-end: nominations, approvals, processing with partners.
  • Support bi-annual cycles: data audits, cash/equity reviews, survey submissions.
  • Coordinate equity grants with Recruiting Ops and Equity Admins per policy.
  • Update comp resources like hubs, playbooks, tables, and job architecture.
  • Spot process gaps and improve workflows with the team.
  • Partner on program design.
 
Required Qualifications
  • 3–5 years in compensation, total rewards, people ops, or similar.
  • Strong organization for multiple deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with data accuracy focus.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets (formulas, pivots, modeling).
  • Clear, proactive communication.
  • Collaborative across teams (People, Finance, Legal, business).
  • Thrives in high-growth, process-building environments.
 
Nice-to-Haves
  • HRIS (Workday) or comp tools (Shareworks/Carta).
  • Equity comp administration experience.
  • Knowledge of data providers (Radford/Aon, Mercer).
