Job description

The Liability Peers Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for providing high-quality customer service and administrative support throughout the scheduling and coordination process of peer review and medical record review services. This role involves reviewing referrals for accuracy, ensuring complete and detailed records, and maintaining clear communication with clients, medical professionals, and legal representatives. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

 

Duties and responsibilities 

  • Deliver professional and timely customer service from the initial request through completion of the scheduling process. 

  • Review referrals to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of information. 

  • Audit medical records to confirm inclusion of all necessary documentation, including treating physician details and relevant case data. 

  • Maintain effective, professional communication with clients and physicians. 

  • Coordinate and track scheduling tasks efficiently, managing multiple files simultaneously while ensuring accurate and up-to-date records. 

  • Leverage knowledge of medical specialties to appropriately assign cases and support peer review processes (preferred.) 

  • Handle radiology and imaging files using platforms such as DICOM, CLINK, Box.com, or similar systems (preferred.)
