Support Engineer - German

This is a remote position.

Job Description:

1. Creating and developing implementation steps as well as their documentation in Jira Tickets

2. Creating technical solutions and their documentation for the components of the HSP within the framework of the HSP methodology (Scrumban)

3. Writing unit and integration tests to ensure software quality

4. Review and evaluation of open pull requests for all HSP components

5. Collaboration with the clients representatives to ensure the integration capability of the solutions provided

6. Taking over support activities for all HSP components

7. active participation in the team and participation in the HSP’s agile events

Skill Requirements:

1. Sound experience in Java Quarkus, Go and RESTful microservice architectures

2. Sound experience in documenting software and IT architectures, ideally AsciiDoc

3. Experience in setting up and integrating Backstage as a service catalog platform into existing system landscapes

4. Experience in using Kafka for asynchronous communication

5. Experience using AWS serverless components

6. Knowledge of using the OpenShift Container Platform

7. Confident use of Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Confluence, Jira

8. Fluent in German or native language
