Job Description:

The Bookkeeping Assistant is responsible for maintaining accurate and complete financial records for the organization. This role includes recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and ensuring that all accounting entries are up to date and compliant. The Bookkeeper plays a key role in tracking financial performance and supporting the accountant during audits or reporting periods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
  • Maintain and balance general ledgers and subsidiary accounts.
  • Prepare bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Generate and maintain accurate financial reports and statements.
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments.
  • Assist in budget preparation and expense tracking.
  • Support accountants during audits and end-of-year reporting.


Requirements

  • 2+ years of bookkeeping experience.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar systems.
  • Strong understanding of accounting processes and reconciliations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Technical Requirements
  • Processor: Intel 11th Gen (or AMD Ryzen 5000 series) for Windows | M2 for Macs.
  • RAM: 16 GB minimum.
  • Internet: Stable connection of 25-50 Mbps minimum.

  • 0-3 months: $1,200 USD/month
  • After 3 months: You’ll receive a $50 monthly Wellness Bonus to support a healthy and balanced work life (total: $1,250/month).
  • After 1 year: Salary increases to $1,340 USD/month
  • After 2 years: Salary increases to $1,480 USD/month
  • After 3 years: Salary increases to $1,540 USD/month
  • After 4 years: Salary increases to $1,600 USD/month

  • Annual Adjustments: You’ll also receive a raise each year and company-wide compensation adjustments as we continue to grow together.
