Roles & Responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Design, implement, and maintain Intune configuration profiles, compliance policies, and conditional access policies; migrate on-premises GPOs to cloud-based Intune configurations and establish baselines and governance
  • Manage Windows Update for Business configurations, monitor device health, and resolve enrolment and patch issues across diverse device types and ownership models
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and compliance remediation; leverage Intune Proactive Remediations and Endpoint Analytics to detect and resolve device issues at scale
  • Configure and support iOS and Android enrollment, compliance, and application management within Intune; apply BYOD and corporate-owned device best practices

eWay Corp is a leading provider of website design, Ecommerce, content management, and cloud infrastructure solutions to Public & Private Sector customers, in the United States. We are also an AWS Select Consulting Partner and offer cloud infrastructure services to our customers.


We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Intune Administrator to join our Cloud Infrastructure Team. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about endpoint management, device security, automation, and creating a unified management experience across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices.

The successful candidate will design, implement, and manage enterprise-grade Intune environments, working closely with internal and client teams to standardize configurations, strengthen security postures, and simplify device lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities
Intune Configuration & Policy Management
  • Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft Intune configuration profiles, compliance policies, and conditional access policies.
  • Convert and modernize on-premises Active Directory Group Policy Objects (GPOs) into cloud-based Intune configurations.
  • Establish and document configuration baselines and policy governance frameworks.
Device & Update Management
  • Manage and troubleshoot Windows Update for Business configurations to ensure consistent patch compliance.
  • Monitor device health and resolve update or enrolment issues across diverse device types and ownership models.
  • Maintain accurate user-to-device assignments and dynamic group membership.
Automation & Scripting
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation, compliance remediation, and operational efficiency.
  • Leverage Intune Proactive Remediations and Endpoint Analytics to detect and resolve device issues at scale.
Mobile Device Management (MDM)
  • Configure and support iOS and Android device enrollment, compliance, and application management within Intune.
  • Apply best practices for BYOD and corporate-owned device models, ensuring balance between security and user experience.
Security & Compliance
  • Review and harden endpoint security baselines using Microsoft Security Baselines and industry benchmarks (CIS, NIST).
  • Integrate Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and ensure device compliance reporting is accurate and actionable.
  • Conduct periodic audits of device configurations, app deployments, and access controls.
Autopilot & Lifecycle Management
  • Deploy and manage Windows Autopilot for zero-touch provisioning and self-service device resets.
  • Build and maintain device provisioning workflows and documentation for support and operations teams.
  • Coordinate device retirements, resets, and reassignment processes efficiently.
Collaboration & Support
  • Work collaboratively with help desk and infrastructure teams to streamline device onboarding and troubleshooting.
  • Provide Tier 3 support and root-cause analysis for complex Intune-related issues.
  • Create training materials, knowledge base articles, and operational runbooks to empower support teams.


Requirements

  • Microsoft Certified: Intune Administrator (MD-102) or equivalent certification.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience managing Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager in enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access, Windows Update for Business, and Autopilot.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and Intune automation workflows.
  • Experience supporting mobile device management (iOS and Android).
Preferred:
  • Experience integrating Defender for Endpoint, Azure Arc, or Endpoint Analytics.
  • Knowledge of hybrid identity environments (Azure AD + on-prem AD).
  • Background in ITIL-based managed services or co-managed IT operations.
  • Exposure to regulated industries such as government, education, or healthcare is a plus.
Preferred Microsoft Certifications:
  • Microsoft Certified: Intune Administrator Associate (MD-102)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
  • Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300)
  • Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900)

Salary: 7 - 10 lakhs per annum
