Senior Product Owner

This is a remote position.

We are a dynamic team dedicated to revolutionizing the management and booking systems for watersports and outdoor activity providers across the globe. Our SaaS web application serves businesses in over 30 countries and is available in English, Spanish, and French.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Owner to collaborate closely with our development team and product manager. This role will be pivotal in refining our Agile methodology, optimizing our product performance, and ensuring that our software aligns with business objectives and customer needs.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Product Manager to understand initiatives and break them down into actionable stories.
  
• Draft, define, and maintain epics, user stories, and tasks that the development team can execute.
  
• Map out realistic project dependencies and ensure timely execution.
  
• Optimize the product backlog for maximum product performance, development sequence, and ultimate business value.
  
• Write and conduct acceptance tests to ensure product quality and alignment with user stories.
  
• Regularly review the development team's completed work, ensuring that the product meets customer expectations and adheres to acceptance criteria.
  
• Refine our Agile methodology, tools (JIRA/Atlassian etc.), and processes based on results and feedback.
  
• Stay updated on industry and competitor trends, ensuring our product remains competitive and relevant.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role.
  
• Extensive knowledge of the JIRA suite
  
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience in refining Agile processes.
  
• Prior experience with B2B SaaS software.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a very good English oral and written level.
  
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
  
• Proactive and self-motivated with a focus on user-centric solutions.
