Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into user-centred design solutions
  • Enhance the back office admin system and customer portal to ensure an intuitive and seamless user experience, including developing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs aligned with brand guidelines
  • Investigate and conceptualise new functionalities (e.g., activity booking checkout flows, advanced agenda features, POS) and develop the company design style guide
  • Conduct user research and usability testing; iterate designs based on feedback; communicate design ideas and rationale; prepare detailed specifications and guidelines for development

Job description

This is a remote position.

Bloowatch develops and services SaaS web apps for watersports and outdoor activity providers (ie. dive centres, surf schools, sailing schools, ski schools, etc.) in more than 30 countries. We specialise in creating intuitive admin systems and customer portals that empower businesses and enhance user experiences. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced part-time UX/UI designer to join our team and help us enhance our existing design and create innovative solutions for new functionalities.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into user-centred design solutions.

  • Enhance the current design of our back office admin system and customer portal, ensuring an intuitive and seamless user experience.

  • Investigate and conceptualise new functionalities, including activity booking checkout flows, advanced agenda features, POS functionality, and more.

  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with the brand’s design guidelines.

  • Develop our company design style guide.

  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterate designs based on feedback and analysis.

  • Communicate design ideas and rationale effectively to the team.

  • Ensure designs are ready for development by creating detailed specifications and guidelines.



Requirements

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a strong focus on UX.

  • Proven experience with references in designing advanced B2B / SaaS web apps in any of the following industries: leisure industry (food, travel/tourism, sports, etc.) ecommerce, SaaS admin dashboard (ERP / scheduling system), kiosk apps

  • Proficient with Figma and prototyping tools.

  • Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and usability best practices.

  • Experience in conducting user research and usability testing.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Fluent English

  • Availability 20hr per week
