About the role:

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on HR professional with 5+ years of HR experience to manage end-to-end people operations while working closely with leadership in the USA. This role is execution-focused with strategic exposure, requiring strong ownership of core HR processes and people leadership.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic HR

  • Drive HR initiatives and processes in alignment with organizational objectives and business priorities

Talent Acquisition Leadership

  • Build, manage, and guide the Talent Acquisition team, providing strategic direction and oversight
  • Define recruitment frameworks and ensure alignment of hiring strategies with business objectives

Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Handle complete onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth and compliant employee experience
  • Prepare and manage HR documentation, contracts, letters, and employee records

Payroll, Compensation & Benefits

  • Independently handle payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and statutory compliance
  • Manage employee attendance and leave records, ensuring compliance with policies and smooth processing
  • Support compensation structures, benefits administration, and payroll-related reconciliations
  • Coordinate with finance and external vendors as needed

HR Operations & HRIS Management

  • Maintain and update GreytHR HRIS and Geenhouse ATS systems, ensuring accurate employee records and up-to-date reports.
  • Drive process improvements in HR operations, documentation, and workflows to enhance efficiency and compliance.

Statutory & Compliance (India)

  • Manage statutory compliances, filings, and HR audits
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws and internal HR policies

Employee Relations & Grievance Handling

  • Act as the point of contact for employee grievances and concerns
  • Ensure fair, timely, and empathetic resolution of issues

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and ensure smooth execution of HR and people-related initiatives
  • Act as a coordination point between HR, leadership, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely communication and follow-through on HR activities

Day-to-Day HR Operations

  • Handle daily HR activities and ad-hoc operational requirements with accountability and ownership

Employer Branding

  • Support and execute employer branding initiatives on social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, to promote hiring, culture, and workplace updates
  • Ensure consistent and professional employer brand messaging across all digital hiring touchpoints to enhance candidate experience and visibility

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of full-time HR experience in a generalist / HRBP role
  • Experience in leading and managing a Talent Acquisition team, with the ability to provide strategic guidance and oversight of recruitment operations
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Mandatory hands-on experience in Payroll processing
  • Hands on experience with HRIS & ATS tools.
  • Strong experience in Talent Acquisition and HR Operations
  • Solid understanding of compensation, benefits, and statutory compliance as per Indian labour laws
  • Experience working closely with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
