Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our Sportsfi, Web3, NFT, and Crypto project focused initially on the sport of Pickleball. The project is in go to market mode with the app MVP ready for launch and significant pickleball industry relationships in place.
The right candidate will have a successful track record of leading and scaling startups in these spaces, with demonstrated exits and the ability to bring funding to the project. As the CEO, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our project's operations, setting and executing strategic goals, and driving growth and profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall strategic direction of the company, working with the team to set and execute goals and priorities.
- Develop and implement business plans, budgets, and financial strategies that drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share.
- Build and maintain relationships with investors, strategic partners, and other stakeholders to secure funding and ensure long-term success.
- Hire, manage, and mentor a high-performing team, providing guidance and support to drive success and professional growth.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential partnerships that will enable the company to grow and expand into new markets.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure the company is at the forefront of innovation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in executive leadership roles in the sportsfi, web3, NFT, and crypto space, with demonstrated exits.
- Strong understanding of blockchain technology and the cryptocurrency landscape.
- Proven ability to secure funding and build successful partnerships with investors and other stakeholders.
- Strong financial management skills, with experience developing and executing business plans and budgets.
- Demonstrated success in leading high-performing teams, with the ability to mentor and motivate employees.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and strategies to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
