Qualifications

5+ years of experience in ETL/ELT and data warehousing, with hands-on work in Snowflake and cloud data lakes
Strong SQL skills; programming experience in C# and Python; ability to build scalable, reliable data pipelines
Experience with Snowflake and Azure (Azure Data Factory); knowledge of metadata management, performance management, and data quality; Kimball dimensional model and SnowPro certification desirable
Familiarity with relational databases and designing/managing data environments in Snowflake

Responsibilities

Create and manage data environments in Snowflake; design schemas and data models
Develop, operate, and monitor scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines
Manage data integration processes and data ingestion using Azure Data Factory and related Azure services; work with data lakes
Ensure data quality, metadata management, and performance optimization; collaborate with stakeholders on data warehousing solutions

Experienced in ETL/ELT techniques integrating into Data Warehouse solutions.

Solid understanding of Relational Databases & Data Warehouse methodology such as Azure Data Factory
Knowledge of various architectures and methodologies like metadata management, performance management and handling data quality issues.
Create and manage data environments in Snowflake.
Manage and monitor the data integration process.
Experience working in a cloud architecture with data lakes.
Excellent SQL skills.
Develop and operate efficient data pipelines which are scalable and reliable.

Tooling & skills

Working experience in Snowflake and Azure.

Experience with C#, SQL, Python
Understanding of the Kimball dimensional model will be desirable.
Certified Snowflake SnowPro is desirable
