Job description

We are seeking an experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our cloud gaming Client.

As the CTO, you will play a critical role in leading the technical direction and strategy of our game streaming platform. Our Client's platform is built in Unity as a social world, providing users with the ability to stream third-party games, interact in a social environment, and access external games.

Responsibilities:

Lead the technical vision and strategy of our cloud gaming platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
Oversee the development and maintenance of the backend infrastructure, specifically using Nest JS and an AWS environment.
Utilize your gaming background and expertise to drive innovation and deliver an exceptional gaming experience for our users.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and engineering, to define and execute the product roadmap.
Identify and evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and trends in the gaming industry to enhance our platform's capabilities.
Develop and implement best practices for software development, deployment, and infrastructure management.
Ensure security and data protection measures are in place to safeguard user data and comply with relevant regulations.
Manage and mentor a team of talented engineers, providing guidance and support in their professional growth.
Collaborate with external partners and vendors to optimize resource allocation and ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

Minimum of 8 years of experience in gaming, with a strong background in both backend development and AWS infrastructure.
Proficiency in Nest JS is essential for this role.
Demonstrated experience in game streaming and an understanding of the technical challenges associated with it.
Solid knowledge of Unity and familiarity with game development concepts.
Strong understanding of cloud computing, particularly within an AWS environment.
