Job description

This is a remote position.

As a SaaS business, RelPro’s technology team is its core. Our team is focused on building internal and client-facing applications that serve financial and professional services firms. Our team is agile, with a focus on building new functionalities quickly and frequently to meet customers’ needs. This has contributed to RelPro achieving 40+ % revenue growth in each of the past three years and being ranked #1866 in the Inc. 5000 List of Fastest Growing Companies in the US.

We have an immediate full time opening for a CTO position within the Executive team.
As the CTO, you will report to the President and be directly responsible for growing and developing the internal and client-facing applications as well as the QA and IT tasks associated with them. You will become an expert in RelPro’s leading business development solution for Financial and Professional Services firms. You will work directly with our external partners and with our internal Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Product Management and Operations professionals.

Qualifications


  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 10+ years of professional IT experience.
  • Experience in translating business requirements into operational systems.
  • Experience in leading teams and/or managing workloads for IT team members.
  • Professional Director level experience in an enterprise environment is preferred.
  • Financial Services Industry experience is a plus.
  • DevOps and CI/CD experience a strong plus.


Requirements

  • Provide leadership in development of inter-team communication and cohesiveness; sustain culture and supporting staff during organizational growth/changes. 
  • Manage execution with Project Managers to ensure that programs / projects are delivered on-time and intervene to resolve issues as required.
  • Serve as technical product owner for clients and go to market partners, lead conversations regarding recommendations and solutions, ensuring high quality, efficacy, scalability, and compliance.
  • Provide direction on evaluation, selection, implementation, and maintenance of information systems, ensuring appropriate investment in strategic and operational systems.
  • Responsible for the full product lifecycle management, including strategy, design, development, management and end of life of new, existing or acquisition products.
  • Ensure formation of long-term Enterprise Architecture strategy and its consistent execution and enforcement throughout the IT ecosystem.
  • Define and measure effectiveness, efficiency, adoption, and utilization across coordinated solutions.
  • Inspire and lead the support team, including mentoring, coaching, evaluation, and professional development.
  • Manage and guide the testing of applications using appropriate methodologies and tools to improve quality, flexibility, and efficiency.
  • Contribute to and support a positive team culture in order to enable an authentic, open, and collaborative environment that thrives on the diverse experiences and perspectives of the team.
  • Drive disaster recovery planning and mitigation strategies for applications.
