Financial Accounting Manager

That's why we're partnering with a fast-growing international investment and industrial group to find a Financial Accounting & Master Data Manager for their growing Shared Service Center.

About the Role:

As a Financial Accounting Manager, you will lead core financial accounting and master data activities within a Shared Service Center environment. You'll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong governance, and standardized processes, while supporting business transformation and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop Financial Accounting and Master Data teams, fostering a high-performance and service-oriented culture.
• Oversee financial accounting activities across multiple entities, ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing.
• Ensure general ledger integrity, balance sheet quality, and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Oversee master data governance, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to approval workflows.
• Drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement across accounting and master data processes.
• Act as a key point of contact for Finance & Controlling and other business stakeholders.
• Support audits, transitions, and finance transformation initiatives.

Who We're Looking For:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field;
• 5–8 years of experience in Financial Accounting, Master Data, or SSC environments;
• 2–3+ years of people management experience in a multi-country, multi-entity setup;
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP (FI/SD/MM/CO) and Master Data modules;
• Solid knowledge of IFRS / local GAAP, financial controls, and period-end closing;
• Experience with master data governance, approval workflows, and process controls;
• Background in process transitions, migrations, or finance transformation projects;
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with MS Office;
• Fluent English; additional European languages are a plus.
