As we expand into Indonesia, we’re looking for dedicated educators to join our team as Online English and Writing Teachers. This role is focused on teaching, with opportunities to grow into other responsibilities, including curriculum support and administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities:

• Online Teaching:
• Engage Young Minds: Deliver dynamic and engaging online English and writing lessons to small groups of students (up to 10). Utilise our structured curriculum to help students develop strong writing skills and a deep understanding of the English language.
• Personalised Learning: Provide tailored feedback to students to support their individual learning journeys and help them achieve academic success.
• Classroom Management: Ensure that each online class is well-organised, fostering a productive and positive learning environment.

• (Potential) Generalist Duties:
• Curriculum Adaptation: As you become more familiar with our approach and the Indonesian education landscape, you may be invited to contribute to the adaptation of our curriculum to better meet local needs (such as creating lessons/slides etc).
• Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks such as managing class schedules, coordinating with parents, and maintaining student records. These tasks will give you a broader understanding of our operations and offer you a chance to expand your skill set.

Content Development: Collaborate with our team to develop new teaching materials, slides, and engagement tools that enhance the learning experience for students.

Skills Required: 

• Proficiency in English: Strong command of the English language, with excellent communication skills.
• Teaching Experience: Prior experience in teaching English, writing, or related subjects, preferably in an online setting.
• Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with online teaching tools, including Zoom and Google Classroom, to conduct smooth and engaging virtual lessons.
• Knowledge of the Indonesian Education System: Understanding of local educational practices, curriculum standards, and parental expectations.
• Administrative Abilities: Capability to handle administrative tasks such as managing class schedules, coordinating with parents, and maintaining student records.
• Adaptability and Willingness to Grow: A positive attitude towards taking on additional responsibilities beyond teaching, including curriculum adaptation and content development.

Job Details: 

As a English & Writing Teacher for the Indonesia branch, you will:

• Teach online classes with small group sizes of up to 10 students, leveraging our meticulously crafted teaching materials
• Collaborate on curriculum enhancements and contribute to special projects, fostering your creative spirit.
• Assist to create slides or other engagement tools
• Make announcements to parents and provide updates
• Assist with lesson preparation for digital classrooms

Location(s):

• Teach online classes at the Tampines office every Friday, but work from home the rest of the week
• *Will still be required to be present on-site for training and other events if necessary.

Working hours:

• Teaching: 4-5 online classes per week, with each class lasting 2 hours.
• Potential for Additional Hours: Depending on business needs and your interest in taking on generalist tasks.
