Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about design? We are looking for an enthusiastic Estimator to join our family-operated team in the window furnishings industry!
What You'll Do:
You'll be the kind of person who:
Accurately complete take-offs to construction drawings to provide precise estimates for window furnishings.
Tender and quote commercial and residential projects.
Follow up and track tendered projects to assist in securing contract.
Collaborate with builders and clients to understand project requirements and specifications.
Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for various window treatments
Maintain an organized database of estimates and client information.
Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge to provide clients with the best options
Requirements
What You Bring:
We're looking for someone who:
At least 2 years of experience as an Estimator.
Proven experience in estimating, preferably in the window furnishings or commercial construction industry.
Experience working with Australian clients is a plus.
Ability to read and understand architectural drawings, schedules, and specifications.
Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in estimation software, Monday.com, and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Microsoft Excel).
