ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY 

The Data Analyst, Dashboards & Insights Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and usability of marketing analytics data used to support decision-making across the EMEA region. 

This role is analytics-first. The primary focus is on validating, auditing, and maintaining reliable measurement foundations - including GA4 configuration, event tracking, conversion definitions, and cross-platform data consistency. 

The successful candidate understands how marketing data is collected, processed, and interpreted across analytics platforms, ad platforms, CRMs, and data pipelines. They can identify measurement gaps, troubleshoot tracking issues, and ensure reported performance reflects reality, then communicate those insights clearly through well-structured dashboards. 

This role works closely with strategists, implementation specialists, and senior analytics leaders. It does not independently define marketing strategy, but it plays a critical role in protecting analytical credibility and decision confidence by ensuring data quality and measurement accuracy. 

Please note this is a contractor position. Candidates must reside and be eligible to work in Brazil. Fluency in English is important. 

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES 

Analytics, Measurement & Data Quality (Primary Focus) 

  • Audit and maintain GA4 implementations, including property configuration, data streams, events, conversions, and attribution settings 
  • Conduct GA4 audits to assess tracking completeness, configuration quality, and alignment with agreed measurement frameworks 
  • Troubleshoot analytics issues such as missing data, inflated metrics, duplicate events, broken conversions, or unexpected discrepancies 
  • Perform event tracking and conversion audits to ensure key user interactions and outcomes are correctly defined and consistently measured 
  • Validate measurement consistency across GA4, ad platforms, CRM systems, and reporting layers 
  • Proactively identify tracking gaps, data quality risks, and reporting limitations 
  • Investigate discrepancies between platforms and clearly explain causes, impact, and confidence levels 
  • Partner with implementation teams, data engineers, and analytics strategists to resolve measurement and data integrity issues 
  • Clearly document tracking logic, metric definitions, assumptions, and known limitations

Reporting & Dashboards 

  • Design and maintain dashboards that accurately reflect validated analytics data 
  • Translate measurement frameworks and KPIs into clear, usable reporting views for non-technical stakeholders 
  • Ensure dashboards prioritise clarity, correctness, and decision relevance over visual complexity 
  • Maintain and update dashboards as tracking implementations, markets, or business requirements evolve 
  • Perform QA on calculations, metrics, and visual outputs to ensure they align with validated data sources 
  • Support ad-hoc analysis and insight requests using existing reporting infrastructure 
  • Contribute to standardised reporting templates and conventions across EMEA

ABOUT YOU 

  • You care deeply about measurement accuracy and data integrity 
  • You are comfortable auditing GA4 setups and explaining what is reliable, what is flawed, and what is unknown 
  • You think critically about how data is collected before thinking about how it is visualised 
  • You understand dashboards as communication tools, not the core analytical work 
  • You are methodical, detail-oriented, and confident investigating inconsistencies 
  • You are comfortable working across multiple markets, platforms, and stakeholder groups 
  • You are willing to flag issues and limitations, even when the answer is “this data isn’t good enough yet”

ABOUT YOUR BACKGROUND 

  • 2–4 years of experience in a marketing analytics, digital analytics, or data analyst role 
  • Hands-on experience with GA4, including auditing, configuration review, and troubleshooting 
  • Strong experience with event tracking and conversion measurement across analytics and ad platforms 
  • Proven ability to assess and improve data quality across multiple sources 
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing platforms (e.g. Google Ads, Meta Ads, Microsoft Ads) 
  • Experience building dashboards in tools such as Looker Studio, Power BI, or Tableau (important, but not the primary skill) 
  • Strong SQL skills and comfort working with structured datasets 
  • Experience working with multi-market or international data sets preferred 
  • Familiarity with ETL or data integration tools (e.g. Funnel.io, Supermetrics, Improvado, or similar) is a plus 
  • Ability to clearly document analytics logic, tracking decisions, and data limitations 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience 
  • Fluency in English

ABOUT THE COMPENSATION 

  • Base Salary: R$150,000.00 to R$250,000.00; depending on experience and skills
