Description

We are looking for a talented 2D Game UI Artist to join our dynamic team and help us elevate our ui design across the game. If you are a creative thinker with a passion for gaming and a strong attention to detail - we would love to hear from you!

This position requires a combination of strong illustration skills, ui design skills, ux thinking and compositing abilities. It offers a lot of creative freedom working through open briefs in collaboration with a strong product team and within our art and design department - contributing directly to real impact features for our game.




Responsibilities

  • Design and develop a user interface for the game, including buttons, icons, new features, full screens, and menus based on wireframes and production requirements.
  • Develop the visual style of the interface in line with the overall game design.
  • Ensure visual consistency across all UI elements.
  • Collaborate with game designers, product designers, developers, tech artists, and art directors to create a cohesive UI/UX experience.
  • Implement a fun, creative, and illustrative UI approach aligned with the game’s artistic style.
  • Understand and define the visual rules of the game’s UI, ensuring a structured and scalable design system.



Requirements

  • 6+ years of 2d game art with proven illustration skills.
  • A strong advantage: ui design experience preferably in the gaming industry or mobile apps.
  • Ability to combine 2d art and illustration for icon creation, with ui design, ux thinking and product understanding, and with compositing skills for creation of in-game banners, covers, and other game ui assets.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (advanced level) is a must..
  • A good command of English is required.
  • Proactively and ability to research, explore, suggest various ideas that sit on the intersection of ux and design.
  •  Background in game development and familiarity with the unique aspects of game UI/UX.
  • Ability to adapt to our game art language.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to take constructive feedback, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized, responsible, and detail-oriented.
  • A team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Bonus Points:

  • Background in game development and familiarity with the unique aspects of game UI/UX.
  • Experience in product thinking, focusing on player experience, usability, and accessibility.
  • Understanding of instinctive interactions, ensuring smooth and intuitive gameplay navigation.
  • Ability to develop and expand a game’s UI language as the product evolves.
