About the Company:

We are a dynamic and rapidly expanding UK-based international engineering consultancy providing world-class planning, project control, and management services across multiple sectors. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for experienced and motivated Senior P6/MEP Project Planning Engineers based in Pakistan to join our remote team.

Position Overview:

The Senior P6/MEP Project Planning Engineer will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules, with a strong focus on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works. The ideal candidate must have solid hands-on experience with Primavera P6, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setup.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Coordinate and integrate MEP activities within the overall project program.
  • Liaise with project teams to ensure accurate progress updates and realistic forecasting.
  • Conduct delay analysis, critical path assessment, and schedule risk evaluations.
  • Prepare planning deliverables including baseline programs, progress reports, and recovery schedules.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to identify and mitigate scheduling conflicts.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines, scope, and quality standards.
  • Support tender planning and bid submissions when required.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of proven hands-on Primavera P6 experience, including MEP project planning in on-site or consultancy environments.
  • Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).
  • Experience with Asta Powerproject is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, resource allocation, and earned value analysis.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Must have:
  • Reliable 24-hour electricity and internet backup.
  • Personal laptop/PC with Primavera P6 software installed.
