Business Development / Sales Specialist

Location: Central Florida

 

 

A proven, results-driven sales professional who thrives in the field, loves building relationships, and knows how to turn curb appeal into long-term contracts in our growing business in the commercial landscaping and exterior services space, we want to talk to you.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, values performance, and wants to be rewarded for delivering real results.

As our Business Development & Sales Specialist – Exterior Services, you’ll drive new revenue by identifying, pursuing, and closing commercial landscaping and exterior maintenance opportunities throughout Central Florida.

You’ll:

  • Prospect and generate new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry relationships
  • Build trusted partnerships with property managers, facility leaders, developers, boards, and procurement teams
  • Conduct site walks and needs assessments to understand client goals, scopes, and service requirements
  • Present customized landscaping, exterior maintenance, and seasonal service solutions
  • Lead negotiations and confidently close deals with decision-makers
  • Prepare proposals, pricing, and responses to RFPs
  • Maintain a strong, organized sales pipeline using CRM tools
  • Collaborate with estimating and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and exceptional service delivery
  • Stay current on market trends, competitors, and green industry best practices
  • Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and client appreciation events

This is a mostly remote role with regular time spent in the field and occasional reporting to company offices.

Qualifications include:

  • 3+ years of business development or sales experience (exterior services / landscaping preferred)
  • Proven success closing high-value commercial contracts
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • CRM experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel (-10%)
