WMS Technical Specialist

Location: Any Location

We are currently seeking a talented and skilled WMS Technical Specialist to join our team and contribute to the successful implementation and maintenance of Oracle Warehouse Management System (WMS) modules for our clients.

Job Summary:

As a WMS Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and supporting Oracle WMS module components, including interface packages, API utilization, and reports development. Your expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, WMS Technical components, and understanding of Oracle SCM and Manufacturing cycles will play a crucial role in improving the efficiency of our clients' warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oracle WMS Module Development:

    • Utilize your strong Oracle PL/SQL knowledge to develop and enhance technical components within the Oracle WMS module.
    • Design, implement, and maintain inbound and outbound interface packages, ensuring smooth data exchange between systems.
  2. Oracle API Utilization:

    • Leverage Oracle API to create seamless integrations with other systems, facilitating data flow and process automation.
  3. Oracle Warehouse Management Knowledge:

    • Demonstrate expertise in Oracle Warehouse Management - inbound and outbound logistics, providing insights to optimize warehouse processes.
  4. Reports Development:

    • Develop XML reports to present warehouse performance metrics and critical data for effective decision-making.
  5. Oracle Order Management and Inventory Transactions:

    • Possess a deep understanding of Oracle Order Management processes and Inventory Transactions, aligning them with WMS functionalities.
  6. Oracle SCM and Manufacturing Cycles:

    • Utilize your clear understanding of Oracle SCM and Manufacturing cycles to ensure seamless integration and data flow across various modules.
  7. Optional Knowledge (Good to Have):

    • Inbound Logistics Setup: Familiarity with Receiving with or without ASN, Receipt Check-in, and Quality Control Inspection.
    • Barcode Printing: Knowledge of barcode printing solutions for efficient tracking and identification.
    • Directed Put-away and Storage Optimization: Expertise in configuring directed put-away, LPN setup, container and LPN management, and advanced locator definition.
    • Subinventory Configuration: Understanding of subinventory setup and configuration for optimized inventory management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with Oracle WMS module Technical components and API utilization.
  • Strong Oracle PL/SQL knowledge is essential.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Warehouse Management inbound and outbound logistics is a must.
  • Experience in XML report development is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Order Management and Inventory Transactions is required.
  • Clear understanding of Oracle SCM and Manufacturing cycles is essential.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders and effectively convey technical concepts.
