Responsibilities

  • Documentation of HR materials: employment contracts, offer letters, verification letters, amendments, and termination paperwork
  • Respond to employee and manager inquiries in a timely and professional manner; assist with administrative aspects of employee relations (grievances, disciplinary actions)
  • Coordinate onboarding logistics, ensure system access is prepared, support new hires, and liaise with payroll on changes and leave balances

Job description

Employee Record & System Management


 Data Entry and Maintenance: Continuously update and maintain accurate employee records in Atlas with details like personal information, job titles, compensation, and employment history.

 Documentation: Prepare, issue, file, and secure HR documents, such as employment contracts, offer letters, employment verification letters, contract amendments, and termination paperwork.


Employee Support and Relations


 Query Resolution: Respond to employee and manager inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

 Conflict Assistance (Administrative): Assist in the administrative aspects of employee relations, such as documenting grievances or disciplinary actions.


Recruitment and Onboarding Support


 Onboarding Coordination: Coordinate the logistics for new employees, which can include scheduling orientation, preparing new hire welcome kits, ensuring system access is ready, and coordinating with other departments.


Payroll Administration


 Liaise with the payroll department by providing accurate, up-to-date information on employee changes, time-off balances, leaves of absence (sick/maternity)

 Leave Tracking: Record, track, and manage employee leave requests, including vacation, sick time, and extended leaves


Policy and Compliance


 Policy Implementation: Assist in communicating, distributing - tracking responses

 Reporting: Generate routine or ad-hoc reports on HR metrics like headcount, turnover rates, and absenteeism for management review or compliance audits - once all employees are correctly inputted into atlas



Benefits


Remote working from South Africa (must be able to legally work in S.A with a tax number)


Salary between R15 000 - R20 000 per month
