Job Description: Hearing Aid Specialist (Audioprothésiste)


Job Title: Hearing Aid Specialist (H/F).


Classification: Executive (Cadre), Level VII.


Reporting To: Audio Department Manager.


Main Objective: Perform all hearing assessment tasks and procedures for fittings when required. Assist members in selecting and ordering their equipment.


Key Responsibilities


Technical Procedures: Perform all hearing measurement tasks for the selection and delivery of hearing aids, including evaluation, recommendations, fitting, verification, and taking impressions.

Member Service: Provide a high level of service with a warm and courteous welcome. Advise members on equipment maintenance (cleaning, battery changes) and resolve comfort or control issues.

Sales & Administration: Process payments (cash, cards) and handle funds according to procedures. Maintain complete, compliant, and relevant records, transmitting necessary data to social security and insurance organizations.

Compliance: Adhere to infection control standards and privacy/confidentiality regulations. Operate in accordance with Ministry of Health competency standards.

Operations: Ensure workspace cleanliness and follow safety and storage procedures. Assist other warehouse departments as needed.


Requirements & Qualifications


Education: A State Diploma in Audioprosthesis (Diplôme d'État d'audioprothésiste) is required.

Experience: Previous experience as a hearing aid specialist is considered an asset.

Certifications: No specific prior authorizations are needed; the company may provide specific training.

Desired Qualities: Strong interpersonal skills, rigor, and discretion in handling data.
