Job description

This is a remote position.

Requirements

GENERAL 

 
Climate Collective is looking for a full-time UI/UX Designer 

- You can be located anywhere in India, as the position is remote. 
- There will be some travel required for mandatory company retreats (every 4 months).



SPECIFIC 

 

  • We are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years of UI/UX design experience 
  • Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Sketch, Illustrator, Photoshop, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite. 
  • A team player but can work independently too. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

  • Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand objectives and user requirements for website portals focused on climate tech startup ecosystem. 
  • Conduct user research, user interviews, and usability testing to gather insights and ensure a user-centered design approach. 
  • Translate user requirements and business goals into intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for websites and web applications. 
  • Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and interactions. 
  • Iterate on designs based on user feedback, stakeholder input, and usability testing results. 
  • Collaborate closely with developers to ensure the implementation of designs is faithful to the intended user experience and visual design. 
  • Apply and maintain consistent design standards, guidelines, and best practices across multiple projects. 
  • Stay up to date with the latest UI/UX trends, technologies, and industry standards, particularly as they relate to climate tech and sustainability. 
  • Monitor and analyze user behavior and data to identify areas for improvement and inform design decisions. 
  • Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve the overall design quality.
