About Us: Climate Collective Foundation (CCF) 

Climate Collective Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting climate tech startups. We work within the climate ecosystem to foster innovation by connecting startups with funding, investors, education, and accelerator programs. Our remote team of 40 members operates collaboratively to drive impactful, sustainable solutions for climate-related challenges. 

About the role:

The Investment Analyst / Associate is responsible for sourcing high-potential startups, managing investor and ecosystem relationships, conducting research and analysis, and supporting the evaluation and engagement of investment opportunities. The role combines analytical work with coordination across founders, VCs, and internal teams to strengthen the overall investment pipeline.

Key Responsibilities​

  • Lead the end-to-end startup sourcing process, identifying high-potential companies aligned with investment priorities.
  • Plan and organize pitch days, including outreach, coordination, and evaluation of participating startups.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with incubators, accelerators, angel networks, and other ecosystem stakeholders to strengthen the deal pipeline.
  • Manage and nurture investor relationships with VCs and angel investors, ensuring timely communication and alignment.
  • Oversee startup engagement processes, including maintaining trackers, monitoring progress, and supporting founders as needed.
  • Conduct research assignments across sectors and investment themes.
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to work with numbers, financial data, and large datasets, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Contribute to cross-functional tasks and organizational priorities as required.




Requirements


Additional Skills

  • Prior experience in Climate Tech or Sustainability will be highly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of startup lifecycle stages, diligence processes, and investment evaluation.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency is required.
  • Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or Python will be an added advantage.
  • Strong documentation skills and the ability to develop and maintain structured processes.
Experience
  • 2–5 years of experience in Venture Capital, Investment Banking, Incubators, or Accelerators is preferred.Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Environmental Studies, or a related field
  • Candidates with an MBA (Finance), CA, or those pursuing CA/CFA qualifications will be preferred.
Location
This is a remote opportunity, but candidates based in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, or other Tier-1 cities will be given preference.
