Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Summary:

Position Type: Contract
Anticipated Duration: 11 months (January 2025 - December 2025)
Location: Midwest (50% onsite, 50% remote)

The Ambulatory and Ancillary Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation and optimization of the Epic Ambulatory and Ancillary modules. This role involves managing a team of analysts, collaborating with clinical leadership, and ensuring that system configurations meet the organization's operational needs. The manager will focus on workflow design, system testing, go-live support, and issue resolution.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the implementation and configuration of Epic’s Ambulatory and Ancillary applications.

- Collaborate with clinical teams to gather requirements and ensure workflows are optimized.

- Oversee system testing, troubleshooting, and go-live activities.

- Manage a team of analysts, providing leadership and mentorship.

- Develop reports and presentations on system performance and project progress.

- Coordinate with training teams to ensure end-users are trained on system functionality.



Requirements

Requirements:

- 3+ years of experience in healthcare IT, with a focus on ambulatory and ancillary systems.

- Epic Ambulatory or related ancillary module certification.

- Proven project management experience with large-scale Epic implementations.

- Team leadership experience

- Strong analytical and communication skills.

Expected Travel:

50% onsite travel in the Midwest.




Salary: 135000
