Job description

This is a remote position.

Volunteer Role: New Enquiries Administrator

We’re looking for caring, confident volunteers to join our team as New Enquiries Administrators at PetRehomer. If you have excellent written and verbal communication skills, enjoy speaking with people, and are good at asking the right questions, this could be a great fit for you.

In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for people interested in adopting a pet. You’ll message and chat with applicants, clarify their key requirements, and explore whether their home, lifestyle and expectations could be a good match for a specific pet’s needs. Good judgment, active listening, and empathy are essential — many adopters are excited but also nervous, and your guidance helps ensure the best outcomes for both families and pets.

You’ll be part of a friendly, supportive team where everyone works together to help pets find safe, loving homes. The role is fully flexible to suit your availability, and we strongly encourage applications from anyone living with disabilities — everyone has something valuable to bring.

Every conversation you have makes a real difference, helping people and pets find their perfect match. If you’re warm, motivated and enjoy helping others, we’d love to welcome you to the team!
