Full Job Description
The Lab Accessioner primarily works in a busy office setting. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and an ability to focus on the task at hand in a busy setting. They will receive specimens from Phlebotomists and Couriers. Enters patient demographic and testing information into laboratory information system. Label specimens, screen specimens for accuracy, deliver specimens to department for testing, prepare specimens and requisitions for delivery to reference labs and assist with data entry and clerical functions.
