NerdWallet is seeking a self-motivated and analytical individual to join our growing finance team. This individual will be a hands-on team member of the company's Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. The Finance organization is composed of driven, high performing individuals who are continually looking to find efficiencies through process improvement and system implementations. We work hard but also know how to have fun and work cohesively as a team.

• Assist with monthly financial operations in Revenue & Expense reporting
• Help to review expense contracts and headcount requests
• Collaborate cross-functionally and build effective and trusted relationships with business partners across the entire organization
• Gain hands-on experience in areas such as forecasting, financial analysis, headcount planning, and accounting close
• Contribute to projects with various business partners to help manage performance

• Have a degree in business, accounting, finance or economics
• Demonstrated strong verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills
• Demonstrated independent thinking, relationship management, and attention to detail
• Analytical and critical thinking skills
• Strong skills in Microsoft office suite/ Google office suite

• A motivated self-starter and a quick learner
• An enthusiastic collaborator with a growth mindset
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment where new challenges come up every day
• You are flexible, dependable, and work well in varying environments
• Experience with Planful, Oracle or Salesforce is a plus
• Experience in financial services is a plus
