Job Responsibilities: 
• Working with the development team to develop quality web & ecommerce
solutions utilising HTML5, CSS3, Javascript (ES6+) & React
• Working closely with project managers and designers to deliver beautiful, pixelperfect
websites
• Working across multiple projects at the same time
• Adapting quickly to strict requirements & processes
• Problem solving unique issues
• Working collaboratively & sharing ideas with an experienced development team
• Essential Skills
• Building websites using HTML5, CSS3 & Javascript

• Applying best practice modular web development
• Module bundlers such as webpack
• Version control & git
• Interpreting and working with APIs
• Templating languages
• Solid understanding of UX across platform/responsive design & development
• Minimum 2 years experience working in a development environment
• Experience working with a team of developers in a fast-paced environment
• Effective & efficient time management skills
• Great client based & in-house technical communication
• Excellent attention to detail
• HTML5 & CSS3
• Shopify Liquid Template Language
• Experience with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery
• Git and version control principles and working within a team of other developers

Good to have:
• Github profile showcasing work for review
• Experience with modern JS frameworks, e.g. React, Vue.js
• Good knowledge in using continuous integration / continuous deployment tools
(such as CircleCI)
• Experience with app builds (frontend or backend )
• Experience working with Figm

The Ideal Candidate will:
• Have 1-2+ years of experience with Shopify, ideally working with clients (agency or
freelance)
• Have great attention to detail that produces high quality work
• Be excited to solve problems, learn and progress (there’s always room for
improvement after all!)
• Enjoy writing up semantic, high performance, tested and reusable code
• Work in an agile environment with customers and team mates• Enjoy working independently and remotely (team mates are only ever a video call
away!)
• Have passion for web development and eCommerce
• Be excited to work collaboratively with UX and UI designers
