ABOUT THE ROLE

This role will play a crucial role in supporting the InfluenConnect x Comms8 teams.  Reporting directly to the Managing Director and managers, you will be tasked with providing efficient and professional support in campaign management, new business development and content creation management across regions.

 

This presents an exciting prospect, offering exposure to various operational activities within InfluenConnect x Comms8.  There are extensive opportunities for professional development and the chance to make a significant impact within InfluenConnect and Comms8.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

1)      Campaign Management

 

  • Support campaigns for both clients as well as InfluenConnect x Comms8.
  • Liaises with client to discuss product/service to be marketed and develops the most appropriate strategy to deliver the objectives;
  • Defines target group and implements strategy through appropriate media and communications planning work;
  • Conceives marketing campaign to impart the desired product image in an effective and economical way;
  • Reviews and revises campaign strategy in light of objective KPIs and takes appropriate corrective measures if necessary;
  • Stays abreast of changes in media, readership or viewing figures and advertising rates;
  • Outlines and implements event execution plan for client’s event conferences, exhibitions, and seminars, including high-level strategic planning and detailed logistics arrangements and execution. Provides on-site support at events;
  • Works closely with the production house for quotes and oversees event and campaign executions.

 

2)      New Business Development

 

  • Assists Managing Director and managers in identifying business leads from current clients and prospects;
  • Engages with key client contacts through the personal network, event, and trade body, utilising inbound leads, and proactive out-bound engagement;
  • Manages and delivers a bespoke proposal for potential clients;
  • Keeps business up to date with key market and competitive development;
  • Supports the wider team for marketing campaign implementation.

 

3)      Content Production Management

  • Collaborates with designers for digital graphic and animation for promotional materials;
  • Works closely with the production team for filming and editing promotional videos for campaigns and events;
  • Localises and writes marketing content in local languages.

Ad hoc tasks may be assigned as needed and the tasks outlined above may not encompass all duties required in day-to-day operations. The company reserves the right to modify or change the responsibilities of the role in accordance with evolving business needs

Requirements

  • Proven experience in marketing, event management and PR, ideally with over 3 years experience in account management.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Strong understanding of the Chinese and Asian culture and media landscape.
  • Fluent in English is a must; proficiency in Simplified Chinese (written & spoken) would be an advantage.
  • Strong ability to create a professional press release and social media content.
  • Eager to learn and demonstrate a high level of curiosity.
  • Display a “can do” attitude, proactive in seeking solutions.
  • Passionate about marketing and branding.
