Job description

This is a remote position.

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Part-Time Accounting Assistant to join their dynamic team. They are a leading financial operations firm specializing in streamlined accounting solutions for businesses, known for their innovative approach and consistent growth in the financial services industry. Over the past few years, they have expanded their client base and enhanced their service offerings, making them a trusted name in financial operations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage invoicing, billing, accounts payable (A/P), and accounts receivable (A/R).

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports.

  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry into accounting software.

  • Collaborate with team members to streamline financial processes.

  • Handle reconciliations and resolve discrepancies as needed.



Requirements
  • 2-4 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.

  • High proficiency in English (written and spoken).

  • Strong knowledge of Excel and QuickBooks.

  • Familiarity with FoundationSoft or ClickUp is a plus.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.

  • Data-driven mindset with strong attention to detail.

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

  • Prior experience in remote accounting roles is highly valued.

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, flexible work environment.
