About the Company

Our client is a U.S.-based private real estate lender that provides short-term, business-purpose loans to real estate investors.

The company finances Fix & Flip, Bridge, DSCR rental and Ground-Up Construction projects and works with a third-party loan servicer, note buyers and capital partners to manage its loan portfolio.

As its portfolio grows, the company is building out its remote operations team to keep every funded loan accurately tracked and every borrower well supported.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Loan Servicing Specialist to own the post-closing servicing workflow and borrower and partner follow-through.

You will board funded loans with the third-party servicer, manage construction draws, monitor maturities, payments and delinquencies, and answer borrower and partner questions until each one is resolved.

The third-party servicer prepares servicing calculations; this specialist reviews and coordinates them. Speed, accuracy, ownership and exceptional borrower service are central to the role.

What You'll Do

Loan Boarding & Records

  • Board funded loans with the third-party servicer.
  • Validate terms, balances, reserves and maturity dates.
  • Maintain accurate records in the company's loan portal and servicing systems.

Construction Draws

  • Manage construction draw requests end to end: budget and reserve checks, inspections, documentation, review and approvals within delegated limits.
  • Coordinate disbursements and give borrowers proactive updates.

Maturities, Extensions & Payoffs

  • Monitor upcoming maturities and coordinate extensions.
  • Coordinate payoffs and extensions with the servicer, reviewing its calculations, statements and documents for accuracy.
  • Track completion and lien releases.

Portfolio Monitoring

  • Identify inactive or stalled loans with no recent progress, updates or borrower communication.
  • Contact the relevant parties, document status and escalate risks.
  • Monitor missed payments and delinquencies, follow up with borrowers and the servicer, and escalate potential defaults or unresolved issues.

Borrower & Partner Support

  • Answer borrower, note buyer and warehouse lender questions about loans, draws, balances, payments, extensions and payoffs.
  • Own each inquiry until it is resolved.

Qualifications

Required

  • At least 1.5 years of hands-on experience at a U.S. hard money or private real estate lender, originating or servicing business-purpose investment property loans (Fix & Flip, Bridge, DSCR and/or Ground-Up Construction).
  • Direct experience servicing short-term hard money or business-purpose loans.
  • Experience with construction draw management, payoffs and extensions.
  • Advanced written and spoken English.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in Gmail, GoHighLevel (GHL) or a similar CRM, and an online loan portal for documents, files and workflow.
  • Hardworking, dependable, proactive and accountable. You take ownership and follow up without reminders.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced lending business, handling urgent requests and meeting deadlines without compromising accuracy or controls.
  • Availability to work 8:45 AM to 5:45 PM U.S. Eastern Time.

Preferred

  • Experience working with a third-party loan servicer.

Please note: conventional consumer mortgage experience alone (FHA, VA, Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac loans) does not meet the experience requirement.

How Success Is Measured

  • Funded loans are boarded quickly and accurately.
  • Draw requests are processed on time and within approved budgets.
  • Maturities, extensions and payoffs are handled before deadlines.
  • Stalled loans, missed payments and potential defaults are flagged early.
  • Borrower and partner questions get fast, accurate answers.

Why Join Us?

  • Fully Remote Opportunity: Work from anywhere in Latin America with a U.S.-based lender.
  • Competitive Compensation: Earn $1,600 to $2,200 USD per month.
  • Meaningful Responsibility: Own the health of a growing loan portfolio.
  • Professional Growth: Build deeper experience in U.S. private real estate lending and servicing.

Important Notes

  • Candidates must reside in Latin America.
  • Direct experience servicing hard money or business-purpose loans is required.
  • Availability to work U.S. Eastern Time business hours is required.
  • Excellent English communication skills are essential.
  • Please submit your CV in English and include the lender(s) you worked for, your dates of employment and the loan types you handled.
