Arizona Infinite Academy (Infinite) is a proposed tuition-free online public charter high school for students across Arizona, opening in July 2027 with grades 9 to 12. Infinite is an Arizona nonprofit with its own Governing Board, and the Principal reports directly to that Board.
Vision: A future where every student in Arizona, regardless of zip code, background, or starting point, has access to a world-class education that challenges them, connects them globally, and prepares them to lead.
Mission: Every student is limitless. We ignite bold thinkers, courageous learners, and purposeful contributors.
What this looks like for students:
No limits from zip code. Students in rural and Indigenous communities, homeschooling families and students whose schools can't offer the courses they're ready for get live teaching and a broad catalog of advanced and AP courses.
Challenge matched to readiness, not age. Students are placed at the level they're ready for, so their learning speeds up instead of stalling.
Live teaching every week. A live lecture for each grade, then small group classes where students practice, get feedback in real time and reflect on what they've learned.
A global community. Students learn alongside peers around the world and grow into purposeful contributors.
Infinite's education service provider is Crimson Global Academy USA (CGA), an accredited online high school since 2020 whose graduates go on to leading universities around the world. CGA provides Infinite's learning platform, curriculum and operational support, so the Principal can focus on students, teachers and families. The same model runs in New Zealand at Aotearoa Infinite Academy, the country's first tuition-free online charter school.
Applications are open now. Any offer is contingent on Infinite's charter being approved by the Arizona State Board for Charter Schools, expected on November 3, 2026.
As founding Principal, you will help shape a new public high school for Arizona: you build the first team, set the culture, get the school ready to welcome its first students in July 2027 and then lead it day to day. You report to the Infinite Governing Board and are accountable for student outcomes, compliance, and the school budget.
Build on a proven model. Infinite uses the same teaching model, platform and curriculum that CGA has refined over years and that Aotearoa Infinite Academy already runs as a public charter.
Spend your time leading. With the platform, curriculum and operational support in place from day one, your time goes to students, teachers and families. You lead hiring for your team, with recruitment support from CGA.
Build the team. Hire and lead the founding leadership team from January 2027 and teachers ahead of opening.
Open the school. Get training, enrollment, policies, and required coordinators in place before the first day.
Lead teaching and learning. Review teaching quality each term with Heads of Department and act on assessment data.
Support every learner. Oversee special education, English learner services and counseling.
Run the school well. Manage the budget and report to the Board each quarter on finances and CGA's performance.
Keep Infinite compliant. Meet Arizona and federal law, the charter and Board policy, and report on time.
Keep students safe. Act as Infinite's Designated Student Protection Lead.
Connect with the community. Build partnerships with Arizona colleges and organizations, and be Infinite's face for families.
Before the first day. Your team is hired and trained, families are enrolled and ready, and every Arizona and federal requirement is in place.
By the end of Year 1. Students are growing, attending and choosing to stay, and the Board and families trust how the school is run.
Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution.
Minimum 5 years in education, including at least 3 years of progressively responsible school-leadership experience with direct accountability for staff, academic programs, or school operations.
Working knowledge of Arizona academic standards and statewide assessment and accountability (A–F letter grades).
Documented record of improving student outcomes (growth and/or proficiency) under your leadership.
Valid Arizona teaching or administrator certificate, or equivalent professional certification.
Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card, or able to obtain one before your start date.
School leadership experience can be in any of these roles: department head, assistant principal, vice principal, dean or director.
Leadership experience in an Arizona Online Instruction (AOI) or blended/virtual school.
Knowledge of charter and AOI reporting requirements.
Experience opening or expanding a school, and managing budgets, ESP relationships, or contracted services.
Up to $100,000, depending on experience.
Contribution toward health coverage, plus employer-paid dental and vision, from your first day.
403(b) retirement plan with a 3% employer match.
Ten days of paid personal leave and paid sick leave.
$500 a year for professional development, plus a laptop, monitor and headset.
This is a full-time, exempt position. Offers are subject to a background check and references.
