About Crimson Global Academy

About the Role
CGA is seeking an experienced SAT Prep Instructor to lead a focused 6-week course preparing 11th grade students for the March 4 SAT. The instructor will deliver engaging, high-impact live sessions that build students’ skills, strategy, and confidence across both the Reading and Writing and Math sections of the digital SAT. This is a free program offered to students across all three CGA campuses, and all participants have completed Integrated Math 2, Pre-IG Stage 2 Math, or the equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and teach six live, 2-hour online sessions covering all sections of the digital SAT

  • Teach test-taking strategies, pacing, and time management specific to the adaptive digital format

  • Assign and review practice questions and full-length practice tests between sessions

  • Track student progress and adjust instruction based on practice test results

  • Provide clear, actionable feedback to help each student improve

  • Communicate regularly with the CGA counseling team on student attendance and progress

  • Create a supportive, motivating virtual classroom for students in multiple time zones

Qualifications

  • Proven experience teaching or tutoring the SAT, with demonstrated score improvement results

  • Strong command of the current digital SAT format, content, and scoring

  • Experience working with high-achieving students applying to competitive universities worldwide

  • Comfort teaching in an online environment (Zoom or similar platforms)

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required; teaching certification or a high personal SAT score preferred

Schedule: One 2-hour session per week for 6 weeks, beginning January 21, 2027
Reports to: Lead Academic and Enrichment Counselor, US Diploma School
