Job description

We are looking for a senior oncology leader to shape and lead GSK's Lung Cancer Franchise in Brazil. This role will be instrumental in building a new growth platform within Oncology, translating portfolio opportunities into sustainable business performance and meaningful outcomes for patients.

You will lead the development and execution of the Lung Cancer strategy, working across Commercial, Medical, Market Access and Corporate Affairs functions while helping shape the future oncology organization. This is a unique opportunity to build a franchise from the ground up, influence organizational design, and drive the successful launch and adoption of innovative therapies in one of the most dynamic areas of Oncology.


Key Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the strategic direction for the Lung Cancer portfolio, ensuring alignment with local and global priorities while maximizing the value of current and future assets.
  • Lead integrated franchise planning and execution across Commercial, Medical, Market Access, Government Affairs, and other key functions, driving business performance through effective portfolio management, forecasting, resource allocation, and P&L accountability.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including oncologists, treatment centers, scientific societies, payers, policymakers, and patient advocacy organizations.
  • Develop and implement customer and patient-centric strategies that expand access, improve diagnosis pathways, and enhance patient outcomes.
  • Lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Partner with regional and global stakeholders to prepare for upcoming launches and ensure successful execution of portfolio priorities.

Requirements

  • Significant leadership experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Strong experience in Lung Cancer and deep knowledge of the oncology landscape.
  • Previous experience leading a Business Unit, Franchise, Brand, Marketing, or equivalent commercial organization.
  • Proven track record of delivering business growth, strategic execution, and organizational leadership in complex environments.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders across Commercial, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and other key functions.
  • Strong business acumen, including experience with forecasting, financial management and P&L responsibility.
  • Advanced or fluent English mandatory.
