About the Role
We are on the hunt for a focused, highly organized Transport Logistics Dispatcher (m/f/d) to integrate into our fast-paced, scaling renewable energy business. In this position, you will serve as a key pillar in advancing the global shift toward clean energy by organizing and executing sustainable global shipping operations. You will operate side-by-side with a knowledgeable, teamwork-oriented division in Coesfeld to make certain that green raw materials move through the supply chain safely, on time, and with high efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport Execution: Coordinate cross-border road and sea shipping routes for sustainable bio-feedstocks, delivering goods from international suppliers to EU-based clients.
- Partner Coordination: Instruct and coordinate third-party logistics providers and freight forwarders to guarantee timely loading and unloading schedules.
- Cost Management: Secure competitive freight pricing, monitor operational transportation expenses, and proactively prevent demurrage and cleaning charges.
- Tracking & Documentation: Update internal systems continuously with precise shipment data and monitor transportation progress through all stages.
- Compliance & Customs: Prepare, review, and validate transport and customs documentation to ensure strict compliance with statutory regulations.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Furnish daily transport schedules and status overviews to the Trading, Finance, and Warehousing departments.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for optimization and submit recommendations to streamline internal supply chain workflows.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Must-Haves:
- Language Proficiency: Fluent German (C1) and proficient English (B2).
- Skills & Attributes: Impeccable accuracy, stellar organizational habits, foundational numerical literacy, and budget awareness.
- Work Style: Willingness to be physically present on-site in Coesfeld and capable of managing everyday dispatch responsibilities calmly under pressure.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Completed vocational training as a logistics services and freight forwarding clerk (Speditionskaufmann/-frau), a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration (BWL)—or a profound passion for logistics operations.
- Early practical background in freight forwarding or transport dispatch.
- Prior exposure to handling EU import protocols or customs declarations.
