Base Pay Range:

$34 - $40/hour

As a Client Engineer & Operations Specialist, you support the design, administration, and maintenance of enterprise client management platforms while coordinating ticket visibility, remote-site technology needs, procurement activities, and status reporting.


As Client Engineer and Coordinator, your essential job responsibilities will include the following:

  • Administer client management platforms.
  • Support operating system deployment and lifecycle management.
  • Maintain client policies and configurations.
  • Assist in software packaging and application deployment.
  • Support patch management processes.
  • Develop basic automation and scripting solutions.
  • Participate in platform upgrades and modernization initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot complex client issues.
  • Maintain technical documentation and standards.
  • Facilitate ticket monitoring, follow-up, and escalation to support timely resolution and accurate work visibility.
  • Facilitate remote-site equipment and technology service needs with site contacts, support teams, vendors, and service providers.
  • Facilitate hardware, software, and subscription procurement, including requirements, approvals, ordering, delivery, and renewal tracking.
  • Provide regular status updates on assigned initiatives and tickets, including progress, risks, dependencies, and next steps.

Position Requirements

  • 3+ years of client support or engineering experience.
  • Experience with client management technologies.
  • Basic PowerShell scripting knowledge.
  • Understanding of device lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with enterprise security controls.
  • Either CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) preferred
  • Hardware System experience: Intel Compatible PC’s and peripherals, Dell clients, Apple computers, printers
  • Operating Systems: Windows, Macintosh
  • Vendor Software: Microsoft Office, Security
  • Strong oral and written communications skills.
  • Experience monitoring ticket queues and coordinating follow-up across technical teams.
  • Experience coordinating remote-site equipment and technology service needs.
  • Experience coordinating hardware, software, or subscription procurement and renewal activities.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and customer service skills.

Physical Job Requirements

  • Working in front of a computer screen for long periods of time.
  • Sitting for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work varying shifts as necessary to support business needs.
  • Lifting and moving computer devices up to 50 pounds as necessary.
  • Travel as necessary, up to 10%.

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The total compensation package may also include commission, bonus or profit sharing.
