This is your chance to be part of a Corporate Human Resources team at a top global hospitality company! As the Director, HR Technology Portfolio & Program Management, you will lead portfolio governance and program management across Hilton's global HR Technology organization. You will establish the operating disciplines, governance, and insights needed to effectively plan, prioritize, and deliver a complex portfolio of HR technology initiatives.

You will drive integrated planning, program execution, resource and capacity management, portfolio governance, executive reporting, and cross-functional coordination. Working across HR Technology, HR Centers of Excellence, Enterprise Technology, regional teams, and strategic partners, you will provide visibility across the portfolio, identify risks and dependencies, and help ensure resources and priorities are aligned to Hilton's most important HR technology initiatives.

You will also lead the modernization of Hilton's HR Technology portfolio and program management practices, leveraging data, automation, analytics, and AI to improve visibility, accelerate decision-making, and strengthen delivery effectiveness.

What you'll do during a typical day:

  • Lead integrated portfolio planning across HR Technology, maintaining visibility into initiatives, milestones, dependencies, resources, risks, and delivery commitments.
  • Manage portfolio intake and prioritization processes, providing leaders with the data, capacity insights, dependencies, and tradeoffs needed to make informed decisions.
  • Provide program management leadership for major cross-functional HR Technology initiatives, coordinating workstreams, milestones, dependencies, decisions, risks, and implementation readiness.
  • Establish consistent portfolio governance and delivery standards, proactively identifying risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints and driving resolution and escalation.
  • Lead resource and capacity planning across the portfolio, partnering with internal teams and external partners to align demand, capacity, and delivery commitments.
  • Lead portfolio reviews, steering committees, planning cycles, and executive reporting, translating complex program information into clear insights, recommendations, and decisions.
  • Coordinate execution across HR Technology, HR Centers of Excellence, Enterprise Technology, regional teams, vendors, and implementation partners.
  • Partner with product and business leaders to establish program success measures and track delivery against intended business and operational outcomes.
  • Establish program management and governance practices for AI-enabled HR Technology initiatives, including readiness, dependencies, adoption, risk, and outcome tracking.
  • Modernize portfolio and program management practices through AI, automation, analytics, and modern tooling to improve planning, reporting, risk identification, and organizational productivity.
  • Establish scalable standards, tools, and practices that strengthen delivery discipline while simplifying processes and reducing unnecessary administrative burden.

How you'll collaborate with others:

  • Partner with HR Technology Product leaders to translate product roadmaps and priorities into integrated delivery plans, resource requirements, milestones, and dependencies.
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence and Global HR Operations to align business priorities, implementation requirements, and organizational readiness.
  • Work closely with Enterprise Technology, Information Security, Architecture, Data & Analytics, and Integration teams to coordinate cross-functional dependencies and delivery.
  • Partner with HR Technology leadership to support portfolio planning, prioritization, capacity decisions, executive governance, and strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinate with strategic vendors and implementation partners to establish clear delivery expectations, governance, milestones, dependencies, and accountability.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders to communicate portfolio health, surface tradeoffs, facilitate decisions, and resolve delivery challenges.

What It Takes to Make the Stay

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Seven (7) years of progressive experience in technology program management, portfolio management, transformation, consulting, or a related discipline.
  • Five (5) years of experience leading complex enterprise technology programs, portfolios, PMOs, or transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale, cross-functional technology initiatives involving multiple platforms, stakeholders, vendors, and dependencies.
  • Experience establishing and managing portfolio governance, program management, prioritization, capacity planning, risk management, and executive reporting practices.
  • Experience translating strategic priorities and product roadmaps into integrated execution plans.
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking capabilities, with experience evaluating evaluate complex information and provide clear, actionable recommendations.

It would be useful if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Technology, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Experience leading or transforming a Technology or HR Technology Portfolio Management Office or PMO.
  • Experience supporting enterprise HR technology and large-scale HR transformation programs.
  • Experience with Agile, hybrid delivery, product operating models, and modern portfolio management practices.
  • Experience governing the delivery of AI-enabled technology initiatives.
  • Experience leveraging AI and automation to improve program management, reporting, planning, risk management, and decision support.
  • Experience with enterprise portfolio and project management platforms, analytics, and visualization tools.
  • PMP, PgMP, SAFe, Agile, portfolio management, or comparable certification.
  • Experience managing complex programs across global organizations and multiple countries or regions.
  • Hospitality or other global consumer-facing industry experience.

Hilton offers its eligible team members a comprehensive benefits package to support their mental and physical well-being, so they can Thrive personally and professionally. The pay range for this role is $145,000 – $190,000 and is determined based on applicable and specialized experience and location. Subject to plan terms and conditions, you will be eligible to participate in the Hilton Annual Incentive (Bonus) Plan, and the Company's long-term incentive plan, consistent with other team members at the same level and/or position within the Company.
