Where You Will Work    

Our global headquarters is in Phoenix, Arizona. Several hundred employees support our operations in finance, human resources, health and safety, information technology, planning, and more. Our flexible work program allows employees to work virtually as well as come together in person when needed at our Collaboration Hub in Phoenix and/or one of our site locations. Employees can work remotely from most states in the U.S., with the exception of California, Connecticut, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma and South Carolina. Additional states may be excluded from remote work based on business factors. Should the position shift to in-person (office/site) work in the future, the company will offer relocation benefits at that time, so long as the position meets the established eligibility for these benefits. 

What You Will Do

This role is primarily responsible for scheduling interviews and providing administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team, Hiring Managers and Candidates.

  • As the Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you schedule phone, video or in-person interviews for various positions across all North America sites.
  • Communicate, via phone and email, directly with candidates and site HR team members to coordinate interviews, assist with applications, and respond to inquiries.
  • Perform administrative tasks including initiation, tracking and follow-up on background checks, scheduling and tracking of post-offer drug tests and physical examinations.
  • Escalate discrepancies or candidate issues to the Talent Acquisition Supervisor or Specialist.
  • Track, monitor and follow-up on tasks to ensure completion and update the applicant tracking system, as required, to reflect real-time status changes.
  • Partner with the Travel department and candidate to coordinate travel arrangements. Responsible for generating routine reports. Perform other duties as requested.

What You Bring To Freeport

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • One (1) year of experience in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources or Executive Coordination.
  • Experience using Outlook or a similar tool for scheduling.
  • Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency when supporting multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of common recruiting processes, procedures and sourcing techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using an ATS or CRM, preferably SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Intermediate level experience working with Excel.
  • Experience generating recruiting reports and metrics.
  • Broad knowledge of Freeport McMoRan.

What We Offer You 

The estimated pay range for this role is currently $24.50-$33.00. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits, or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills, and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
