Job description

Azure Cloud Engineer

Location: Mechanicsville, VA (Remote)

Duration: 08 months

Seeking for an Azure Cloud Engineer. This role involves engineering, application support, and rotational help-desk support within the Tolling group, covering API Gateways, AVD, App Insights, and Office 365.

Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Operations and Engineering: Maintain Azure resources, ensure compliance with security policies, and implement fault-tolerant solutions.
  • Monitoring, Troubleshooting, and Diagnostics: Ensure uptime, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and perform performance tuning.
  • Operational Support: Participate in operational cycles, resolve production issues, and manage change requests.
  • Technical Development and Compliance: Support data flows, manage key vaults, and apply compliance requirements.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work with cross-functional teams, provide guidance on Azure services, and support multiple projects.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft Azure services.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience supporting E-ZPass tolling applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Windows environments and Office 365 services.
  • Experience with Rubrik backup & recovery, and administering Single Sign-On (SSO).
  • Solid scripting experience (PowerShell and/or Python).
  • Azure certification (preferred).

Must Have Skills

  • Microsoft Azure administration/engineering: 3 Years
  • Microsoft Windows environments: 5 Years
  • Server infrastructure, protocols, firewalls, certificates, load balancers: 2 Years
  • Support of E-ZPass tolling applications: 3 Years
  • Networking, server administration, databases, cloud environments: 2 Years
  • Implementing Rubrik backup & recovery for Azure IaaS/PaaS: 2 Years
  • Scripting with PowerShell/Python: 2 Years
  • Administration of SecretServer privileged access vaults: 2 Years
  • Office 365 and Power Apps platforms: 1 Year
  • Single Sign On and identity administration: 1 Year
  • Experience with enterprise governance models: 1 Year
