Your role as part of the team

As our new Technician, you will play an important role in supporting the development, production, and testing of systems used for space electronics hardware. The environment is open, informal, and collaborative, with help, feedback, and knowledge sharing readily available. We take pride in developing people and technology, and we value diverse perspectives, curiosity, and continuous improvement. We care about the work we do and the people behind it.

Technical skills matter, but your mindset matters just as much. We are looking for someone who is calm, structured, and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and a willingness to take initiative. If you enjoy solving practical challenges, improving existing methods, and finding effective solutions to complex hardware builds, you could be a great addition to our team.

How you will make a meaningful contribution

    • Develop, maintain, and update technical documentation related to hardware, test setups, and procedures
    • Support general laboratory maintenance and ensure equipment and work areas remain organized and operational
    • Contribute to the optimization of build methods, testing approaches, and working procedures to improve quality and efficiency.

Bring your expertise into play

To thrive in this role, we imagine that you bring some of the following qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience within electronics hardware production, assembly, and testing
    • An educational background as an Electronics Technician, Electronics Technologist, or a similar qualification within electronics
    • Knowledge of analogue electronics, electronic systems, and testing methods and principles
    • Hands-on experience with soldering, hardware assembly, and the construction of mechatronic systems
    • The ability to understand complex test systems and how they interact with the products being developed and tested.

Most importantly, we believe diverse experiences add value to our team and organization. Therefore, we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet all the above requirements.
