Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week, with at least four hours of daily overlap with 9:00 AM–5:00 PM US Eastern Time

About the Role

We are in search of an Amazon Catalog Manager who will own the health, accuracy, and day-to-day management of its Amazon catalog across the US and Canada.

As the Amazon Catalog Manager, you will own the health, accuracy, and day-to-day performance of the company’s Amazon catalog across the US and Canada. You will manage Seller Central operations, ensure listings and variation structures are built correctly, maintain reliable pricing and catalog data, and resolve issues before they affect sales or customer experience. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing, Amazon consultants, and the PPC agency to keep the company’s largest sales channel organized, compliant, and positioned to perform

Responsibilities

  • Listing Creation: Launch complete Amazon listings with accurate images, copy, A+ Content, keywords, backend fields, and variation structures.

  • Listing Optimization: Refresh content, copy, imagery, and backend attributes to keep listings accurate, competitive, and positioned to perform.

  • Strategy and Agency Alignment: Partner with the Head of Marketing, Amazon consultants, and the PPC agency to align listing priorities with channel and advertising performance.

  • Variation Management: Build and maintain parent-child variation families, troubleshoot stuck variations, and rebuild parent listings when needed.

  • Flat Files and Catalog Data: Execute and validate flat file uploads for listings, pricing, inventory, and variations while maintaining clean, reliable backend data.

  • Product Identifiers: Assign and manage GS1 barcodes, SKUs, FNSKUs, and packaging references accurately.

  • Performance and Listing Health: Monitor keyword rank, category rank, listing performance, price suppressions, missing content, listing errors, and stranded inventory.

  • Account Health and Compliance: Oversee account health, manage Seller Support cases through resolution, and maintain compliance with Amazon policies and Brand Registry requirements.

  • Brand Referral Bonus: Manage program participation and verify that eligible external traffic is tracked and attributed correctly.

  • Reporting and Team Coordination: Compile weekly Amazon metrics, align daily priorities with the Head of Marketing, manage tasks in ClickUp, communicate through Slack, and participate in the weekly L10 meeting.

Competencies and Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 3+ years of hands-on Amazon Seller Central experience

  • Experience managing the Amazon.com catalog of an established brand generating at least seven figures in annual revenue.

  • Advanced knowledge of Amazon flat files and bulk catalog updates

  • Strong understanding of variations, Brand Registry, account health, and compliance

  • Proven experience resolving complex catalog issues end-to-end

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience managing Amazon US and Canada marketplaces

  • Background with DTC, home improvement, plumbing, or consumer-product brands
