Now Hiring: Power BI Developer-Utilities 

We’re looking for a talented Power BI Developer with experience working in the utilities industry to join our growing team. If you’re energized by solving complex challenges, collaborating with smart and supportive teammates, and making a real impact, you’ll fit right in.

 What You’ll Do:

• Work directly with business stakeholders to understand reporting, analytics, and operational decision-support needs.
  
• Facilitate requirements and report-design discussions with business users, translating business questions into actionable reporting requirements.
  
• Understand not only what information users request, but how and why they use it to perform their jobs and make decisions.
  
• Help stakeholders distinguish between required reporting capabilities, opportunities for improvement, and legacy reports or functionality that may no longer provide value.
  
• Communicate tech concepts, constraints, and options in clear business language.
  

BI Development & Report Conversion

• Design, develop, enhance and convert reports, dashboards and analytics solutions based on defined business requirements.
  
• Assess existing reports to understand business purpose, data sources, calculations, dependencies and usage.
  
• Support rationalization of legacy reporting by identifying opportunities to consolidate, simplify, enhance or retire reports rather than automatically recreating them.
  
• Translate existing reporting requirements into modernized BI solutions while preserving required business logic and data integrity.
  
• Develop intuitive reporting experiences that enable users to quickly identify actionable information.
  
• Partner with technical + functional resources to resolve data, integration and reporting issues.
  

 What You Bring:

• Demonstrated experience developing enterprise Power BI reports, dashboards and analytics solutions.
  
• Strong experience gathering and translating business reporting requirements into technical solutions.
  
• Proven ability to work directly with business stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand business processes and connect reporting requirements to business outcomes.
  
• Experience converting or modernizing legacy reports and validating results between existing and new reporting solutions.
  
• Experience with report testing, data reconciliation, UAT and defect resolution.
  
• Ability to manage multiple reports or work items while maintaining consistent stakeholder communication and follow-through.
  
• Ability to work collaboratively across business, functional, data and technical teams.
