Position Purpose: Assists in developing, assessing, and coordinating holistic care management activities to enable quality, cost-effective healthcare outcomes. May develop or assist with developing personalized service care plans/service plans for long-term care members and educates members and their families/caregivers on services and benefits available to meet member needs.
Key Details: This position functions in 100% Inbound Phone Call environment
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m. CST. Occasional weekend training may be required. This role also requires availability to work holidays as business needs dictate.
Education/Experience: Requires a Bachelor's degree and 1 year of related experience OR equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.
Preferred Experience:
3–4+ years of experience in healthcare, member services, LTSS, or STAR+PLUS programs
5–7+ years of experience in a high-volume call center or inbound customer support environment
Demonstrated professionalism, diplomacy, adaptability, and attention to detail in a fast-paced service environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Strong problem-solving, organization, time management, and verbal communication skills
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining flexibility, accuracy, and professionalism
Strong preference for candidates who are comfortable working in a 100% inbound phone-based environment with high daily call volume
