Systems Administrator III | 1159

CTI Staffing is partnering with a leading retail organization to find a Solix Archiving Platform Administrator for their enterprise data and infrastructure team. This is a remote contract role for nearshore or offshore candidates.

The team manages an enterprise data archiving platform that keeps business data organized, accessible, and compliant. You will keep that platform running reliably, so the people who depend on it can focus on their work.

What You'll Do

• Install, configure, and maintain the Solix archiving platform
  
• Administer day-to-day platform operations and keep the environment stable
  
• Set up and manage user accounts and access on enterprise servers
  
• Run and verify system backups and support recovery when needed
  
• Troubleshoot platform and system issues and drive them to resolution
  
• Write scripts to automate routine administration tasks
  
• Document configurations, procedures, and fixes for the team
  
• Work with application and infrastructure teams to support archiving needs
  

Requirements

What You Bring

Must-Have:

• 8+ years of technology experience
  
• 4 to 5+ years of hands-on Solix archiving platform administration
  
• Experience installing, configuring, and upgrading Solix in production
  
• Experience with system backups, recovery, and platform maintenance
  
• Experience setting up and managing user accounts and access
  
• Strong troubleshooting skills with a track record of resolving production issues
  
• Ability to be productive on day one with minimal ramp-up
  
• Located outside the US (nearshore or offshore) with availability for US-aligned working hours
  

Nice-to-Have:

• Scripting experience (shell, Python, or similar)
  
• Experience with application retirement or information lifecycle management
  
• Database and operating system administration experience
  
• Experience in a large enterprise or retail environment
  

Technical Environment:
Solix archiving platform, enterprise servers, system backup tools, scripting languages.
