Job Summary

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of Tableau dashboards to support operational reporting needs.
  • Support requirements-gathering sessions by documenting notes, capturing action items, and organizing meeting outputs.
  • Perform basic data analysis to identify trends and surface preliminary insights under the direction of senior analysts.
  • Help translate analytical findings into clear summaries and supporting materials for team review.
  • Write and execute basic T-SQL queries to extract data from structured sources.
  • Maintain and update Excel-based reports using standard formulas, pivot tables, and charts.
  • Assist in the preparation of PowerPoint presentations to support internal reporting and program updates.
  • Collaborate with teammates and cross-functional partners to understand data needs and ensure timely delivery of outputs.
  • Support data quality checks to validate accuracy and consistency across reporting sources.
  • Contribute to team documentation efforts, including process notes, data dictionaries, and workflow summaries.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • 1–2 year of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role; internship experience is accepted.
  • Foundational knowledge of Tableau or similar data visualization tools; demonstrated coursework or project exposure preferred.
  • Basic proficiency in SQL/T-SQL for data querying and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and basic charting.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under structured guidance.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Exposure to Python, PowerShell, or other scripting tools is a plus but not required.
