About the Role

Level: 3

Department: Adviser Proposition

Location: Remote

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

As Adviser Proposition Analyst, you will join a team which plays a critical role in how financial advice is designed, delivered and governed across Quilter.

Reporting to the Head of Adviser Propositions, you will work alongside proposition, research and insight specialists, gaining broad exposure to adviser needs, market developments, providers, regulation and strategic change.

This is a hands-on role: you will research, analyse, coordinate and maintain the evidence that underpins good decisions. In return, you will see how ideas move from insight through development, governance and implementation, build relationships across the business and develop a strong foundation for a career in propositions, strategy, governance or change.

  • Explore data, competitor activity, market developments and adviser needs to generate practical insight.
  • Spot trends, exceptions and evidence gaps, helping the team focus on what matters.
  • Support proposition initiatives from early exploration through testing and implementation. Take accountability for engaging stakeholders and adviser-facing teams to gather and structure the information needed to drive successful proposition development.
  • Build evidence packs that inform proposition reviews, due diligence, governance papers and committee decisions.
  • Review provider evidence, ask focused questions and highlight areas requiring challenge or escalation.
  • Coordinate due diligence information shared with third parties, building experience of external partner relationships.
  • Turn complex information into clear briefings, research outputs, meeting summaries and draft documents.
  • Track reviews, deadlines and actions so work keeps moving, escalating exceptions promptly.
  • Improve repeatable processes, templates and records, including through smarter use of technology.
  • Support the fund research service, gaining insight into real adviser queries and specialist investment expertise.

About You

  • You enjoy getting beneath the surface of a question, using data and qualitative information to identify patterns and practical insight.
  • You are organised and accurate, recognising that reliable records and disciplined follow-through are essential to high-quality proposition work.
  • You communicate clearly and enjoy turning complicated material into concise, balanced messages for different audiences.
  • You enjoy meeting new people and working with a variety of different teams, both internal and external.
  • You are curious about financial advice and motivated to build knowledge of advice businesses, propositions, markets and regulation.
  • You are comfortable taking ownership within a defined brief, asking focused questions and speaking up when requirements or evidence are unclear.
  • Experience in financial services, analysis, research, project support or governance would be useful, but it is not the only route into the role. We are equally interested in transferable skills, sound judgement and the potential to grow.
