Job Summary

Executes core supply chain planning activities for assigned products, customers, or divisions. Converts demand signals into feasible supply and inventory plans while supporting S&OP / IBP processes. Contributes to forecast creation, analytics, and scenario evaluation to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement of planning processes and tools. Provides day-to-day guidance and coordination for new team members within the planning function.

Planning Area

This role can operate in one of two Planning Areas depending on organizational needs:

Customer Planning – Planning activities for customers, sectors, or business units, ensuring alignment between demand, supply, and inventory.

Planning Excellence – Improvement of planning processes, systems, analytics, and governance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

·         Provide day-to-day guidance and support for new team members including onboarding and training.

·         Develop and maintain demand, supply, and inventory plans within defined planning horizons.

·         Contribute to forecast creation and validation using statistical models and business inputs.

·         Translate demand forecasts into production, procurement, and inventory plans considering constraints.

·         Support S&OP / IBP processes through data preparation, analysis, and reporting.

·         Analyze forecast performance (accuracy, bias, trends) and support continuous improvement.

·         Support scenario planning by evaluating risks and alternative supply and demand scenarios.

·         Maintain planning master data such as safety stock, lead times, and lot sizes.

·         Monitor planning exceptions and coordinate resolution with cross-functional stakeholders.

·         Track KPIs such as service levels, forecast accuracy, and inventory performance.

·         Support continuous improvement of planning processes, tools, and data quality.

Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.

·         3–5 years of experience in supply chain planning or related roles.

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·         Experience with planning systems and data tools (e.g., Excel).
